For those of us who make up the Hispanitas team, our work is about being more than a footwear and accessories brand. Our collections reflect how we understand life. Our inspiration and the starting point for each of our creations is “The Hispanitas woman”. An urban woman, dynamic and enterprising, who sees her footwear as an ally, able to keep up with her day to day pace of life without wanting discomfort to slow her down.
Mephisto is quite simply the finest walking shoe on earth. Its comfort, support and durability are recognized wherever people take walking seriously. What’s more, while other walking shoes are often 100% synthetic, rarely seeing a human hand in their manufacture, Mephisto remains a natural product (soft leather, latex, cork and rubber) and continues to be hand made one shoe at a time in the matchless European tradition.

Pajar was established in Montreal in 1963. Paul Golbert, having arrived from France ten years earlier with his wife, Rachel, and their young son Jacques, was experienced in the European art of shoemaking. He recognized a niche in the Canadian market for sheepskin-lined boots, and hence the birth of Pajar. Paul Golbert was considered a pioneer in the development of leather, shearling-lined boots.
The Pajar Group has become a significant force in the Canadian footwear industry as a manufacturer of high quality, waterproof, shearling boots resistant to the harshest winters.

Birkenstock Quality craftsmanship to better support your feet…and improve your health In 1774, the German shoemaker Johann Adam Birkenstock had the vision of offering comfortable insoles that promote healthy feet and thus laid the foundation of our anatomically shaped footbed insoles. History: A brand born at Sea
As Paul Sperry watched his cocker spaniel, Prince, run across the ice on a winter’s day in Connecticut, he noticed his dog’s amazing ability to maintain traction on the slippery surface. Turning over Prince’s paw, he observed hundreds of tiny cracks and cuts going in all directions. These wave-like grooves became the inspiration for Mr. Sperry’s latest patent, called Razor-SipingTM, and were instrumental in maximizing the traction and performance of the Authentic Original Sperry Top-Sider first introduced in 1935. Since inventing the first boat shoe, our brand continues to share our “Passion for the Sea” with those who enjoy the good life in, on and around the ocean. Sperry Top-Sider has been an American Original since 1935 when Paul Sperry invented the first boat shoe for sailors. A timeless sense of style makes us feel relaxed and comfortable, confident in ourselves and the lifestyle we lead.
Think Globally, act locally. About 4000 employees produce Ara shoes in six wholly owned production facilities. In 2008 more than 7 million pairs of shoes have been dispatched into 50 different countries. The different tastes of each country must be matched by the variety of our collections. It is this dynamic balancing of market demands and design policy, performed every season that has made us what we have become today after 61 years. Still we try harder.
all started in the 1922, when three smart businessmen invented a new brand name: Mr. Hans Rollman, Mr. Karl Michael and Mr. Karl Kaufmann decided to use the 1st two letters of their surnames to create the brand name RO MI KA.The three partners knew exactly, that from the marketing point of view, the name concept was perfect: Easy to pronounce, read and write, not only in Germany, but also for most international markets: The remarkable and simple character of these 6 letters became a synonym for high quality premium footwear products worldwide. It was Mr. Rollmann and his partners who invented many new materials and constructions like foam rubber or Vibram. At that time of course nobody, not even the three founders, could imagine that over more than 85 years this name developed into one of the most popular brand names ever in the worldwide shoe history.
